light horseman

Our horses were taken to war where they would see blood and gore.

there was not much more.

love they would always get,

love they would never forget.

These horses were fit and strong,

so they could survive for long.

Their body’s  is big and steady,

So their always ready.

The war is finally history,

now we can share the story.

the horses cant be with them forever,

so they have to go but we will always remember them, lest we forget

Vincent Lingiari

Vincent Lingiari was a tribe leader and he owned over 300 square miles, then the land was taken off him by the government, and the leader of the government (prime minister) at that time the leader was Gough Whitlam. Vincent Lingiari wanted his land back badly, that bad that he waited 9 years. He was offered a raise but that still didn’t stop him. Finally Gough Whitlam gave in and gave his land back by pooring sand into his hand.Screen Shot 2015-06-16 at 10.09.39 amScreen Shot 2015-06-16 at 10.12.36 amScreen Shot 2015-06-16 at 10.15.04 am
